And who made that decision?  After the first rainfall about 1/3 to 1/2 of the classic cruisers scattered like cockroaches.  When the second storm threatened about half of the remaining cruisers left to avoid the approaching storm with possible hail.  When the rain looked like it wasnt going to end, I dont know how the show still went on even though we had an announced & advertised the raindate.

So who made the decision to go on with the "Car Crusin" downtown with more than half of the cars gone?  The vendors also scattered and left when the rain continued.  Shouldnt we have postponed the rest of the day's activities and continued on the 28th?

It would have been a tough decision and alot of people would have been inconvenienced but the day was supposed to be about the downtown and crusin cars.  With the downtown closed down because of the rain and the amount of cars that left I think it would have been a more profitable idea to reschedule to the 28th.  I dont even think that the media showed up because the weather was so bad so why did those organizers think it was a good day for the downtown festival to go on?  It's one of those things that make me think, "What the ????" again.  I just dont understand how so much planning can be thrown away when a raindate has been scheduled and it did rain the whole afternoon into the evening.  What a big disappointment to the beginning of a wonderful day.  Go figure.  Afterall, that is what a raindate is for...RAIN.
