Some Dems want to oust Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT) from the Democratic caucus, a lot of others--especially the netroots, advocate at least pulling his Homeland Security Chairmanship. Some want President-elect Obama to weigh in on Lieberman after what many consider his Benedict Arnold actions against the Democratic Party (e.g., speaking at the Republican Convention) and Obama in particular (saying that Obama was not putting country first and that he had voted to cut funds for troops on the ground) during the campaign. Others think he should just stay out of the fray. What are your opinions? What do you think should happen to Lieberman? Should all be forgiven and no penalties or reprimands meted out?
