Is anybody as tired of Sarah Palin as I am? I'm tired of seeing her in the media no matter what I watch. She's on the news. She's granting exclusive interviews to everyone...and, I mean everyone. She's even on entertainment shows. But, the Republican Governors don't seem to like her a lot (see press conference at the Republican Governors' Association Convention... ;-») but she is still getting a lot of attention.
Politico says she has reached her sell-by date and "...if Sarah Palin were a cereal, she’d be rushed off the shelf."
If Ted Stevens loses his Senate bid so that there is no open slot for a Republican when he is thrown out, maybe people won't talk about her as a possible replacement, and things will settle down a little. I know this sounds like jealousy or something, but it's not. It is just frustration that we Americans never seem to learn. We like the newest cutie-pie dumbed-down female no matter whether she has any intelligence or discernment. We overlook untrue statements that tend to incite violence if it comes with a "you betcha." Isn't it time we grew up a little and faced our enormous problems instead of wishing to be "entertained" as the ship sinks?
P.S. Did anyone see her speech at the Republican Governors' Association meeting? It came after the press conference. Boy, does she need speech writers or someone. That was the worst speech ever.
P.P.S. On the other hand, perhaps she should stick around. She is the gift that keeps on giving for Democrats.
